Countermeasure! One of the few exclusives for that system, as I understand.

Tunnel Runner? Distant waltz, “bound” could mean run (as in “second run”), “halls” could mean tunnel.

@nosweargamer got it! @HDN wasn't far off... Tunnel Runner is from the same company.

See if you can't get this one as fast, @nosweargamer (or anybody else):
Platform: Nintendo 3DS

I had to look up "Tanuki" to get that middle part.

I'm finding it very difficult to distinguish the green balls from the red balls (have I mentioned I'm color blind?), so I'm just avoiding all of them. I doubt I'm losing many points that way.

I made my Demon Attack video a little late for the contest, so I didn't post it here, but I've compared emulation to OG Hardware again for this Video Pinball challenge.....and let's just say, there is NO comparison between the two...

After some effort, I managed to break into 6 digits! It's probably been at least 15 years since I used this cartridge. I wasn't the biggest fan, but it's grown on me a little, now. I like how nudging works, and the physics on the flippers isn't bad. The spinners still really annoy me, though.

I never feel like I'm getting the timing right on the hitting the accelerator during the countdown. So instead, I hit the gas from the very beginning and then slide to the right to have one opponent hit me from behind, then slide further to let a second one hit me. I've never felt as much of a jerk toward AI in a racing game as I do in this one.

Looks like it's going to be a close one! I discovered by accident that you can omit using a boost during a lap and still get a good time, so I've started keeping one in reserve in case I mess up and need some sudden acceleration.

I like this track. The turns aren't too oppressively sharp. I think there's still a lot of room for me to shave off time. In most cases I'm using the boost as soon as I get it.
