  1. You ever have one of those days where you find so much good junk, you just can't believe it? That was today for me. The 5200 joysticks are in very nice shape. I'll bet the buttons need work, but that will be a fun project. Another Scooby Doo plug and play -- this one with the game key slot -- for $1 A Scooby Doo Wii game CIB for $1 (Jinky's!) A really bad condition laptop -- I always wanted one of these 12" Dell's, and this was only $3. It will be fun to see if it works, and possibly fix it up. 3 Microvision games A boxed TI computer (yes, the tan model is not ideal...but the price was right). A couple of C64 carts. It was so weird to see the 5200 joysticks and C64 games just sitting there on the shelf at Goodwill. I can't say I've ever seen them before in years of hunting.
  2. The prescription is more woodgrain.
  3. I have those same tiny joysticks for the TI 99/4A. They are a huge improvement over the TI branded sticks. PS -- Did you know these are made by Amiga -- yes, the same company that made the computer for Commodore? They made joysticks to help pay the bills before the Amiga came out.

  5. Who remembers the Winamp "Visualizer"? I think they stole the idea!
  6. Just a dumb question -- the cost of shipping is not included in the $30 max, right?
  7. Nice selections here. Thumbs up for a great trader.
  8. They are good prices for fully boxed homebrew games. I've seen them, and they are really nicely done. Keep in mind, AA usually charges $30 for a bare cart. Homebrews are expensive to make -- especially those that look professional. My opinion of course.
  9. I will take any that need fixing. Thanks.
  10. Has started watching Battlestar Galactica (1978) on Netflix.

We have considered adding it to our list after TNG.

I loved the original series. I hope you enjoy it too Rick!

The first episode is excellent. It's been a long time since I've seen it.

  11. Right on! This was the company that was willing to try new ideas and create wild new products.
  12. Another idea is to steal the motherboard from a 2600jr. It's pretty dang small, and as a bonus, the switches are already off the board.
  13. You might consider taking the tiny motherboard from a Flashback 2. You'll have to wire in a cart port. But that would be my first idea for such a project.
  14. One item that is missing from your list is the Pac Man LED Desk Clock: https://www.amazon.com/PAC-MAN-Premium-LED-Desk-Clock/dp/B0161ZWIIO I got this one for my birthday, and I must say, it's become beloved already. The plan was to put it in the garage, but I set it up in our family room, and it's staying there for now. Even my wife likes it. They even got the font on the numbers right -- it looks like the arcade game.
  15. It's a great accomplishment, and frankly, we -- your viewers -- are the real winners here. Thank you nosweargamer! Here's to 100 more episodes.
  16. How about this cheap one....just to experiment with: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hauppauge-WinTV-USB-Model-40011-602-Windows-95-98-XP-Complete-Boxed-/282255257713?hash=item41b7b97071:g:-zoAAOSwTZ1XmqlD
  17. And of course, I have more (because I'm long winded). If you decide to go the ebay route...make sure the auction you choose comes with the original CD. Hauppauge is very prissy about giving out their software. You'll need that original disk or there's no way to get WinTV. Second, make sure it's WinTV version 7 or higher. The older versions don't work with Windows 10 (I don't think).
  18. As an example, I have a Hauppauge card in my PC, and it comes with software called "WinTV". WinTV has a record button that will save your file in a standard video format, and that can be loaded into whatever mixing software you like (Windows Movie Maker is mentioned twice above). And finally, as Dan mentioned, Hauppauge makes an external version that connects via USB. I haven't used one of those, but I would imagine it would work just fine. The only reason I'm suggesting Hauppauge is because I'm familiar with the software that comes with it, and it works really well. Other brands may too, I just am not familiar with them. I actually have two Hauppauge cards...both used to watch TV. One here in my office on my main computer, and one in the garage man cave. The one in the garage just has an antenna hooked up, and it gets a pretty good selection of HD channels over the air. The one in here is connected to a cable box. But also on the one in the garage...I use it to test video game consoles. And it would be very easy to record game footage.
  19. From Starbuck66: - Defender (Sears label) -- I have a Sears heavy sixer, and will slowly collect Sears labelled carts when I can. So far, I have 10 (1 CIB, the rest loose). - C64 Frog Master. It works great. I actually had 4 C64 games waiting to be tested, and they all worked first try. That includes the Congo Bongo I got in a trade from jmjustin. Thanks!
  20. I just learned that original BSG is on Netflix.
