  1. Loving this as a fan back in the day of Transformers: Beast Wars (in Canada it aired on YTV under Beasties: Transformers, I don't know why either) it was likely an expensive show being early CGI along the lines of REBOOT ! looking primitive by todays standards but still I LOVED IT! Never thought I would see it again in this form, love NETFLIX or hate it, it is amazing they bring back shows like this and the NOSTALGIA is strong! It looks amazing! 😮😎🤘

  2. It should be noted fyi that a previously unreleased and unlicensed ISO has surfaced for the Sega CD called Super Strike Trilogy . 😏 Those awesome Electronics Arts series (Desert Strike  / Jungle Strike / Urban Strike ) and since the Sega CD does not have any form of copy protection one need only download the ISO in Bin/Cue format, burn it to CD-r and boot that baby up. For obvious reasons I will not link it here but a simple Google search will lead you a source pretty quickly 😉 These were great 16 bit games for the Sega Genesis so having all 3 on a single CD is pretty nice imho.

    DESCRIPTION:
Super Strike Trilogy is a Compilation video game published by Electronic Arts released on 1995 for the SEGA CD.

A prototype leaked in 2017. Never released.

    Includes 3 games in 1:

    Desert Strike
    Jungle Strike
    Urban Strike

Oh lord. This game is simply a blast to play. For a 2600 title, it’s very unique. No lives, multiple screens with drastically different gameplay, fun and satisfying mechanics, great graphics; everything that makes a great 2600 gem.

I would have to say that one of my favorite parts of this game is seeing what alien creatures I’ll be rescuing next. There are a ton of the little guys! Who needs Pokémon when you have Cosmic Ark?

The Space Zap section is also a lot of fun. It gets so heated and intense in the later levels, and the mode works because you’re punished if you shoot your lasers Willy-nilly. You have to be precise in your shooting.

Overall, this game rocks! It’s a shame we didn’t see a sequel. I would have loved to see Atlantis III.

I definitely recall when first trying this back in the day at first thinking "Is this all there is to it?" and then the next things you know it's 3 hours later and I am still at it. Ah I miss those simple times. 😛😆

  4. I'll be honest, I was never really a board game fan. Oh, I played my share, Trouble, Monopoly, Checkers, Snakes and Ladders, various card games etc, with family mostly but honestly it was not until I started seeing pixels animated on a screen that I cared at all about games of any type. Oddly, as big as I was into Fantasy, Horror, Magic, Wizards and the like I was not even into Dungeons and Dragons, at least not the original roll the dice games, it was more like I wanted to like them, that I expected like them more then I actually did since they seemed to have all the ingredients of stuff I was into. So, I would say that, I guess, if I choose to play something like that I would opt for the "Video Game" adaptation of classic games, at least I'd still be interacting with those loving pixels at the very least. Video Checkers, Hangman and various card games were all fun enough to play for sure. Once again so, some years later we all got into Ken Houston Black Jack / Poker on Colecovision and then I guess through the years I would try various interpretations of classic board games on Gameboy, GBS, computer games etc, I was huge into EA Zany Golf on AMIGA and SidePocket Pool on NES. I think overall though, even sticking specifically with Classic VCS I was more into original titles, arcade parts and original 2600 games would be my go to before classic board type games.

  5. Yes I only ever noticed it the first time I received my new/old 5200 package, didn't even think about it but afterwards I was always sure to hook up the RF FIRST when digging it out of storage and never seemed to repeat it. I love my original 4 port, I specifically wanted the original.
