  1. Sorry I am quite ignorant regarding the WiiU but I did find THIS article that seems like it may be of some help I hope! http://www.yourlifevalues.com/wii-u-deluxe-32-gb-video-game-console-versus-wii-u-basic-8-gb-video-game-console/
  2. Oh for SURE it is nice to be able to use a old analogue PC controller in combo with a keypad on the 5200! Especially since PC controllers are pretty cheap and plentiful. I actually have an option for that, years ago a fellow on Atari age sold DIY Y-adapters that allowed connection of such a controller along with your 5200 controller simultaneously giving you access to the regular 5200 pad, certainly not an elegant or pretty solution but it works!

  7. Would be great but sadly that article is nothing but assumption and clickbait. And honestly N64 emulation has not been the greatest even on PC so a plug-n-play based on N64 for would be a surprise even from Nintendo who for some reason have themselves seemingly been reluctant to revisit the N64 platform. I would not even consider this being a possibility until a Snes classic Mini is selling and even then I would not bet on it. THAT SAID if their "prediction" come to fruition this is one I would actually like to get! Nes / Snes have soooo many ways to emulate well those did nit really interest me, the NES Classic mini would have been great with the hack to add hundreds of roms but otherwise I was not really interested personally. Now N64? A sweet bundle of games on a mini version of that console if they were well emulated (I would expect no less from Nintendo) would be something I would actually consider.
  8. This actually looks pretty good, might be better than a lot of official SONIC releases of late! Sonic Time Twisted Release Date:April 18, 2017 Platform:Windows PC https://www.sonicretro.org/2017/04/sonic-time-twisted-released-12-years-development/ SONIC TIME TWISTED RELEASED AFTER 12 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcLpwUccCqo It’s rare that a Sonic fan game gets fully released. Many are often cancelled or often stay in development hell after releasing one or two demos. But for once one of those games managed to get out of said development hell and be released as a full fledged game. Sonic Time Twisted, created by Overbound Game Studio, has finally been released after being twelve years in development. The fan game features 28 acts across 8 zones, time travel, new special stages, and a soundtrack that’s headed up by Hinchy. The full game can be downloaded on Overbound’s site, and the soundtrack can be found here. You can also find the game’s previous demo releases on our wiki. 9. So great! Downloading this game now! What a great tribute......

  11. Very cool! Thanks for sharing, neat to see such a thing on the Genesis, I shall repeat here the comment I left on Youtube - Impressive and fun demo, reminds me of my AMIGA computing days, I could literally play demo's hour after hour and often did! Always fun to see the latest offering from the demo scene programmers. It truly was amazing what they could coax out of the hardware even with the most minimal of specs. They truly could pull off amazing sound and graphical FX as they were talented coders who could use the full potential of the machine by bypassing the OS and accessing the chips directly, a trick that was described by the term "Banging the Metal" - Good times.
  12. Sweet stuff Bill! Welcome to our humble community!

  15. An SD card slot would certainly be awesome but after buying the first my criteria is: 1. Good lineup of titles 2. Proper backwards compatible controller out of the box as was intended with the original, They have had enough time now. unless those two conditions are met I will pass until they release one that meets those requirements, same goes for future Colecovision Flashbacks. Oh and also I need to be working again to have extra monies for such indulgences
  16. Yeah they were originally supposed to be backward compatible with original consoles but they rushed the release (same for the ColecoVision Flashback) no excuse this time with a new version coming it. Backwards compatibility with the controllers would be a huge value add.
  17. Welcome to our humble site and thanks for sharing.
  18. Sorry for being a flake, you know what? I thought a lot about it today and regardless count me out, someone else could surely deserve and appreciate it more and less cost to ship within USA anyways. Again sorry for my indecisiveness. Carry on!
  19. Sure throw my hat in the ring IF shipping to Canada is not an issue? If not I totally understand if you prefer to keep shiping within your borders, I am not in a position to spend on my hobby currently but a freebie is cool Any excuse to do an unboxing lol.
