greenween Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 (edited) Thanks! Stay in the center, only use hyper space in an emergency and then get back to the center. UFOs are great for the points. Edited December 5, 2017 by greenween "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
Atari 5200 Guy Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Hmm. Might have to drag my four-switch out for this one.

RickR Posted December 9, 2017 Report Posted December 9, 2017 14420. I often forget how great this game is for 2600. greenween and TrekMD 2
chas10e Posted December 9, 2017 Report Posted December 9, 2017 14420. I often forget how great this game is for 2600. BItD my console had a broken game select switch so I'd only ever play game #1 on a cart , I like the fact this variation each ship matters. and hyperspace in which you would never usually use matters a great deal I can only imagine this happening .... RickR 1
TrekMD Posted December 9, 2017 Report Posted December 9, 2017 Finally had a chance to play and here is my score... greenween and RickR 2 🖖 Going to the final frontier, gaming...
Atari 5200 Guy Posted December 11, 2017 Report Posted December 11, 2017 Here's mine. This is brutal! And the asteroids fly in a different direction I'm not familiar with since I've only played the default settings. And don't get me started on those smaller UFOs. Those things cheat LOL. RickR, greenween, chas10e and 1 other 4

greenween Posted December 19, 2017 Report Posted December 19, 2017 I haven't been able to hit 20,000 again. Good stuff!! "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
nosweargamer Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 I'm shocked I was able to pull this off. Most of my scores ended in the teens, then I started hitting the 20's, but today I passed 30k. 30,410 Atari Greatest Hits Vol 1, DS Played on a 3DS It's can be really tricky, because on this compilation, A, which is the action button in games, turns into the reset button after your game ends, and if I'm in the middle of button mashing when I lose my last life, I can reset the game and lose my score. I'm just glad it didn't happen this time! greenween, chas10e, RickR and 1 other 4 The No Swear Gamer on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChtJuo040EOCTVziObIgVcg Host of The Atari 7800 Game by Game Podcast on iTunes, Stitcher and YouTube
RickR Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 It is the kind of game where a hot streak can occur. On my high score run, I lost all but one ship early, and that last one lasted a loooong time. Great score. Atari 5200 Guy, nosweargamer and greenween 3
