I would have loved to see that moment when you found something as cool as this in the recycling bin! I have a couple of packages I've been meaning to send you for the past year. Ever since I last moved I've been taking a break from digging through boxes etc. and have been putting it off. After the holidays I'll get some stuff together and send it your way, it may make for another nice unboxing video for you. 

So a few weeks ago Monoprice.com's distribution warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga CA had a pretty sizeable warehouse sale in which they tried to unload all sorts of scratch and dent merch, while also selling monoprice branded and other undamaged stuff at pretty nice discounts. I bought wifey some monoprice over the ear bluetooth headphones for $15, which she loves! And I bought myself this.
 

 
Got me a little drone regularly priced at $50 for $30. I figured for $30, why not.
 
It's made by Hubsan and it's model H107C and I gotta say that this little drone is AWESOME. Its already proven to be very durable as ive already crashed it a number of times. Ive only have had to replace the propellers which they are really cheap on ebay (6 sets for $6 shipped). And ive also bought 5 extra batteries. (Flight time is about 7 minutes buy battery charges in about 35 minutes.) I've been flying it almost on a daily basis. Around my room, and outside.
 
It even has a camera. For a $30 dollar drone I didn't expect much as far as quality and I was right. It's decent though. Range is really good as well. I took this screenshot from a video I shot with this drone:
 

 
I have a blast flying this thing around. I already want a bigger and better one with GPS and HD Video recording and with a FPV screen on the control. I also want one I don't have to register with the FAA.

Reluctantly decided to check our Electronics / Appliances Recycling Bin and to my surprise I was amazed to find a sweet addition to my Classic Gaming collection! Needless to say I will be checking it on a daily basis lol.

Playing some TI 99/4A tonight.  It has some great games, and I love the speech module. 

Decided to put my boxed 2600 games on the shelf in my office.

Gotta admit clones with built in games intrigue me.

Wanted to know if anyone collects clone VCS/2600 hardware? I really want one called Rambo TV Games! This is one I got my hands on a few years ago.

It has 32 built in games. The first game will load if there is no cart in the slot and there is a button on the back that you use to select through the different titles. It is an interesting list of games from both Atari and a number of 3rd party developers.
 
 
 
 
 
Sadly the player 1 controller port has a broken pin, the pin used for the left direction on the joy stick. Just haven't gotten around to replacing it.   

And no one can pick against the Browns this week!

NSG, you and I should go to Las Vegas and try our luck there on these football games.  We've made it through week 12.  Unbelievable. 

I just got the game via a trade with Rowsdower...and your review is spot on.  I love the spinning Gonzo head on the Space Invaders mini-game.  But man, I find the Boomaray game to be very difficult.  Can't even make it past the first level.  Too frustrated to try more!  AAARGH!

Laser Blast is now available for sale for the Atari 8-bit computer. This is a port of the Activision 2600 game. Requires 16K of RAM so it will run on any stock Atari 8-bit computer.
 
I did my own version from scratch and Instead of just doing an exact port of a 2600 game, I wanted something that will take advantage of the Atari 8-bit features like having 4 independent player sprites on a line and higher multicolored resolution for the ground, mountains, and star back ground. This does a parallax effect with back ground and foreground scrolling at different rates giving a nice 3D effect when scrolling between each level. Several variants you will be able to play include 3, 4, or 6 tanks on the ground, alien fighter crafts are also flying above the tanks, and enemies can either shoot lasers or "little bolts" up at your ship.
 
 
The release date is Monday, November 28, 2016 that is CyberMonday in the United States.

Good you picked this up, I recently purchased this famicom clone in Panama for... 6.99 what??? I had to get it, I haven't tried it yet, but for the price, can't go wrong, see attached pics.
