  1. Thank you to MaximumRD, DeLorean, and btbfilms76 for staying on top of this story as it breaks.

  2. Great episode BTB! Chip's Challenge is awesome, definitely in my Top 3 favorite Atari Lynx games. It compares really well to The Adventures of Lolo on NES. Chip's Challenge is a fantastic puzzle game that exists in a cool little world, it was hard not to play it for hours. The Lynx version far exceeds the Chip's Challenge that made it to PC, which made the Lynx look outstanding by comparison.

  4. Awesome advice about getting the launch titles with the flat lip. Lynx launch titles were stellar. Way ahead of its time, so far ahead of anything Nintendo was doing.

ElectroCop was one of my first Lynx games too. It has that awesome music and bright beautiful pixelated robot world that defined the Lynx. I always had a theory that ElectroCop existed within the Chip's Challenge universe and was how Chip saw himself, as this radical techno-hero that saves the world.  :electrocop:

Great episode as always BTB, I seriously, seriously love this show. So good what you are doing.

  5. I always felt Barnyard Blaster was an under appreciated game in the 7800's library. Ikari Warriors was sublime. Both games in my opinion played to the NES' strengths and tried to show that the 7800 could do what the NES was doing. Had Atari done more of this and been serious about it maybe things would have been a bit different for the 7800. Thanks for posting!

  6. This is an unboxing video I made of a package MaximumRD sent me. It was filled to the brim with some very nice TurboGrafx-16 games! He sent it to me completely out of the blue, just because MaximumRD is such a thoughtful and generous guy! I recorded this video on Thursday, October 17, 2013, a little less than a year before the Forums went live, so it never got posted but MaximumRD's generosity certainly deserves to be shown here. The video's not exactly new and it's not exactly a trade, but I wanted to share it with you anyway. Enjoy  :nintendo_mario_1up:
