Thrift Store Finds

This one totally reminded me of something jmjusitin would do!  Channeling the great JMJ was kind of fun.

So it was half-price day at Salvation Army, and that means $2 games.  I found this one, but sadly, they couldn't find the disc.  So the guy just threw it in the garbage can.  I said "You're just going to throw it away???  Can I have it?".  He said "Sure".

Anyone have a matching disc for this game and manual?

Lately i haven't found anything good at the shops near me so i thought i would go a little further out. I found a goodwill that is about 45 min away, but i think i did good

I found a 3ds case and when i picked it up it was heavy. Sadly it didnt have a 3ds, but it did have a DSi in it with these games. Got all.of it for $15

Next was this generic game system travel case. It looks brand new has all these different disc cases inside. Got it for $5

I stopped at a Goodwill after taking my mom to a Dr. appointment and found these:

Also, some very slightly exciting news -- I just discovered there is a normal Goodwill about 1.5 miles from my work that I didn't know about before.  Next week, if the weather is good and work is slow (big giant "if's" right there)...I'm going to go take a look.

The thieves strick again sadly. Went into goodwill after i picked up my free taco at taco bell. Enter the matrix was the only one that actually had a game in it. The rest were empty and i got them for free

Oh and i found a box of pokemon thankyou cards (like Christmas cards) for 50 cents

I rarely find anything noteworthy in our local thrift store.  Yesterday was different!

Waddingtons Wizard, from 1979!  The box is in reasonably good shape, and I'm pretty certain all the contents are there.  I'll need to pick up some C batteries to see if it works, but the thing looks like it was never used.  But I'm not sure how that's possible given that "You can never be bored when you own the Wizard. . ."

I found one at Goodwill Outlet last year (no box or manual), but I didn't realize it was quite that old! I second that request for manual scans!  :)
